Stereo Shebang - Number 11

I know, I know, "why not the Bose SoundDock?" well, I happen to love my radio. I cannot possibly get ready to go to work without the KFOG morning show, and while it is mostly only static-free in my car, jazz on KCSM is the best (and only) jazz station around these days. (Yes, it's very sad.) And don't you ever just want to crank up the Motown station every once in a while and go for it? Or how about a nice weekend morning with Car Talk, This American Life, and A Prairie Home Companion? Yes...radio is still a viable entertainment media - don't let anyone tell you differently.
I've never actually had a proper stereo, I've been stuck in boom-box land since seventh grade. Now that I'm officially an adult, I think it's time to supe-up the stereo and get something that sounds good. I want to connect my iPod, play the radio, occasionally a CD or two that I may not have ripped to my iTunes yet, and I want it all powered by a remote control...Yes, I want all the options. I know that this iLuv stereo shebang may not be the best on the market, but it's the only one I can find that has everything I want, and in a tidy little package that won't dominate my entire apartment.
Music inspires, motivates, changes your mood...it's a necessity, not just a want.
