Holiday Etsy Guide: Stationery
Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 8:33PM Welcome to the first installment of the Holiday Etsy Guide! Today's topic is stationery and I've found some fantastic Christmas cards, tags and odds-n-ends that will surely inspire your gift-giving. My Mom taught me that part of the gift-giving (like anything) largely concerns how the gift is presented. With this in mind, we always had some of the most elaborately bouffant bows and tags tying up our packages, and this definitely made our eyes get even larger!
So, to kick-start your wrapping, take a look at the following boutiques on Etsy:
Little Bit Funky comes to Etsy from Crystal Johnsen of Charlottesville, VA, and offers a selection of cards, tags and accessories that are full of fun. I loved this card called "Celebrate-A Christmas Card" - the perfect sentiment for this time of year! Another card I found was entitled "Click Click Click" from the great childhood carol: "Up On the Housetop" - love it! Little Bit Funky also offers felt ornaments, jingle bell and button flowers, ribbons, festive hair clips and knitwear. There is also a new blog related to the boutique which can be found here.
Maxeenland is from San Diego, CA and I am absolutely in love with these gift tags! A set of six tags are festive, embellished, and all about red and white...the peppermint stripe reverse to a striking floral shilouette. Talk about eye-popping! These are especially perfect for the ordinary-average-hostess-gift bottle-o-wine...tie one of these on, and people will remember you! I also adore this Christmas card with its vintage car...order me up a box of twenty!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's gift guide featuring jewelry! Check out other picks on Chic & Charming and SFGirlbybay!
