QM2 in SF

 

I am on my third day of being home-bound with a very bad cold, and as such I'm incredibly sorry to have missed this! I know it may not be much to those of you not in San Francisco, but for us it's pretty cool. So, in a measure of civic pride I am brining you Cunard-White Star's Queen Mary 2...

The Queen Mary 2 passed under the Golden Gate Bridge this afternoon in a flurry of fog horns, fire boats, and flashbulbs...barely clearing the bridge by a matter of only thirty feet! In a city that is well-versed in queens, this is definitely the biggest to ever come to town - in fact, the Queen Mary 2 is the largest ship to ever pass under the Golden Gate.
