Many Thanks!

If I could, I'd send all of you Red Envelope's Dutch Tulip Bouquet to say "thanks!"I just want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped me to reach my fundraising goal for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!! It was definitely "full court press" time during the past few days, but some last-minute donors were extremely generous and came through with the difference I needed. Thank you one and all!
Just because my minimum has been met does not mean that your chance to donate has passed - no way! Please continue to donate through the badge at the right - your dollars go directly to patients & families with blood cancers, as well as research for new cancer treatments! Did I tell you that one of our family friends is alive today because of Glevek? Yes. And that drug would not be around today if it were not for the funds raised by athletes training with Team In Training.
Yes - you ARE curing cancer!
Just another few days of training (including a sports psychology pep-talk tonight, and an Aquatic Park swim on Saturday) and we get to start "tapering" the workouts until race day on May 6th!
And so the question arises: "Why triathlons?" Isn't one sport enough? My friend Pam has thought long and hard about this and has some hilarious ideas of her own over at Pamspace... Could it really have anything to do with The Bachelor? Wink-wink...
