Shout Outs 4.27.07

snoopy_dance.jpgHappy Friday!!!

Martha's done it again! Her much-beloved Blueprint magazine (M.S. stylings for the young & hip homemaker,) now features a blog entitled Bluelines... From there you can click over to any number of design & style sites...

But speaking of style, Daddy Likey offers great advice on how to style a pale-hued ballerina dress - always a conundrum! While Faking Good Breeding brinds out adorable "Flip Flop Alternatives" - I'm going to have to get some of these myself!

Also, from earlier this week, Fashion Food Culture Life* writes up all of the details on the new Gap white shirts from Doo.Ri, Rodarte and Thakoon (CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners) which are also featured on the cover of Vogue, graced by many lovely models in a palette of bold blue and white.

Ms. Spinach over at Fashion Is Spinach has a fun post about her upcoming film series featuring one of my all-time favorite fashion films...Down With Love. I love that this film features re-creation fashion, instead of trying to go about sourcing the vintage pieces - they made their own and did a supreme job! The colors, the fabrics, the lines...fabulous!

Also...very pleased to find out that Project Alabama is BACK! Yes, according to She's A Betty and WWD they have secured funding for another go at hand-crafted, quilted fashion from the deep south.

On a final "Fridays are Fun" note... the Stylehive Blog talks all about the beautiful cupcakes made in Sydney, Australia by Kylie Lamber's Le Cupcake... Yummmy!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!
