"Hi Annie, this is Ramon from Jonathan Adler. I wanted to let you know that we've received the Happiness pillow in stock and I saw that you've been on the wish-list for this pillow since December. Please give me a call if you're still interested..."

Um, yeah?

I called Ramon back right away - after all this time I was certain that those ultra-hip design folks at the Jonathan Adler store had completely forgotten about me, and had blown me off in favor of some Pac Heights socialite. Not so! As he assured me: "...all of our items are hand-made, so those little grannies that do our needlepoint take a long time to do them! I'm glad you called me - we only received four and I wanted to make sure we got them out to the people who've been waiting the longest..."

Moi.

You may remember that I had a birthday almost six months ago, when The Girls gave me a gift certificate to Jonathan Adler because I was in love with the Happiness pillow. Sadly, the Jonathan Adler store didn't have it at the time, and I've been waiting ever since.

But now, I'm very pleased that the Happiness pillow is home, spreading its happy from my couch. 

I love Happiness.
