Some Signage

These past few years have been a crossroads, not just for me, but for most everyone I know and love. It's been rough. Childhood phases are indulged because parents know they'll be outgrown, but what about phases we go through as adults?

Being educated, independent, and cultured, we seem to know what choices to make, but how do we know they're the right choices? Insurance would be nice during these times, but I guess that would be a cop-out. Sometimes I think it's up to me, my hard work, perserverance and grit, but then there are the days when I'm certain it's just a cosmically imbalanced roll of the dice.

I was just thinking that it would be nice to have a Jiminy Cricket to let me know I was moving in the right direction. If not an animated sidekick, then the freeway sign from L.A. Story would be great. Something that would give me clues about how to proceed in matters of the heart and soul.

Who doesn't need a little friendly oracle to keep you hopeful during times like this?
