Tell the Lady in the Funny Hat...

There were a lot of hats on the runways this Fall - weird, wild, wonderful, and some that were downright abhorrent. Most, actually. I'm not sure if all the toppers were a tribute to Isabella Blow, or if designers are just trying to bring hats back with a vengeance, but their presence was made known in abundance. I've been saying that the beret would be back for months now, but these weren't just berets - fedoras, skull caps, knit toms, top hats, "Cat In the Hat" hats, feathered confections, floppy brims...the list goes on.

Is the look successful? Some were dramatic, charming, and sophisticated. The others, well, I'm not so sure...
