Snuggle Up!

If you're a great designer, there's no reason why you shouldn't design all kinds of things. Why not? Aesthetics and taste don't need to be limited to shoes and clothing; thankfully most great designers have discovered this, and in an effort to maximize on their global brands they've expanded into home. There's Ralph, Giorgio, Versace, etc...I'm sure it's only a matter of time before LVMH gets into the game.
That's great, you say, but what can I do to get this kind of homestead on my working girl budge? Permettez-moi:
Did you know that West Elm has collaborated with the uber-chic knitwear designers, Lutz & Patmos? Yes! Products began rolling in during their Fall season, but everything should be all gone by the holidays with no sign of return. A true limited-edition product, that while priced for the proletariat its looks are definitely luxe!
Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos, whose previous collaborations have included Sofia Coppola, Carine Roitfeld, Kirsten Dunst, L'Wren Scott, Julianne Moore, Volkswagen, Uniqlo, and Coach, have teamed up with West Elm for their first foray into products for the home.
Designed with the same luxurious styling as their clothing, these pieces invite you to sink in and get cozy. Chunky cable and zig-zag knits in rich greys, ambers, and beiges are great neutrals for the couch or top of bed. And, at the fabulous West Elm-esque pricing of $39 for pillows and $89 for throws, these are great gift options too!
Personally, I think they're an even better gift to keep for yourself...

Upon advice from my attorneys, I do need to make a full disclosure here, although I think most of you already know it... I do work for Williams-Sonoma, and one of the brands I work for is indeed West Elm. The other is Williams-Sonoma Home.
The times when I call out Williams-Sonoma products are very few and far between - occasionally on a Ten Things post, but I really think that's about it. I've never wanted Poetic & Chic to be about my work, which is why when I was working in fashion I never mentioned that I worked for Louis Vuitton, nor mentioned their products unless I owned them myself.
The Lutz & Patmos-West Elm collaboration is my absolute favorite product program to come along at West Elm during my time here. I am really proud of it and LOVE this product, which is why I wanted to share it with you all... Even if I didn't work for West Elm, this one would have found its way here - I love it that much.
Now, doesn't that make you sleep better?
