The Men of Gap Holiday 2008

Jason & Francesca Bateman for GapWhile on the subject of current advertising, I must mention the dashing, funny, and handsome men in the Gap Holiday ads for 2008. I'm a sucker for a man wrapped in a sweater...

All of the images in this series are gorgeous in the classic genre Gap portraiture. The Rayder sisters, Jennifer Hudson, and all of those lovely models, but my favorites are the guys. Handsome  Daddy Jason Bateman and his baby daughter are so stinkin' cute you cannot help but find yourself chuckling at their irresistable pic.  And speaking of irresistable, Jon Hamm and his lovely lady Jennifer Westfeldt present themselves as the beautifully rugged couple you always wish you were a part of. So much so that you may think they were booked for Ralph Lauren but got lost and landed at The Gap.

If I had my pick though, I'd have to go with the Saturday Night Live fellows. Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers, and Will Forte pose in a plethora of stripes and argyles, trying to look tough and artfully layered at the same time. The effort is hilarious.

I revise my prior statement: I'm a sucker for a man wrapped in a sweater...who makes me laugh.
