Next Stop Wonderland
Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 10:45AM Just in case you missed this on Boing Boing... I'm in love!
I did a lot of babysitting in my time and that means I've seen just about every Disney flick ever made at least a few times. Some are better than others, and while I love the older graphic colorations of Sleeping Beauty and Fantasia, I also love the lively pen strokes seen in The Aristocats. But, above all I love Alice in Wonderland. This film showcases the true beauty of animation, creating fantastic, dreamy worlds full of colors and characters.
As you see in this remix, created by a 19-year-old Australian named Nick Bertke, the whole thing rides a fine line between a children's story and a scary acid trip. Just as Lewis Carroll would want it!
