Ilee 2009 Calendar!

Last December I attended the San Francisco Bizarre Bazaar where I found a lovely letterpressed calendar by Ilee Papergoods. Little did I know then how much pleasure it would bring me throughout the year! I hung up the calendar in full on my bulletin board at work - just behind my computer screen in my line of sight. Two rows of six cards... It's clean, colorful cards are so joyful and fun - and truly useful as I can see the calendar at-a-glance. I knew right away that the Ilee calendar would have to be a new tradition for me!

As of Monday, Ilee's Etsy shop has the 2009 version of the calendar available for sale. This year's designs are especially whimsical and retro-looking. Very Charley Harper-esque. In other words: love.

Ilee does a combination of letterpressing, silk screening and foil stamping - the combination makes for lovely and unexpected results! Her cards are gorgeous too - a mix of traditional and mod, and the perfect way to say something special. For the 2009 calendar, 8 months are printed on Ilee's 106 year old Chandler & Price press, while the other four months are a combination of silk screening and foil stamping. Ilee is also donating 10% of the sale price to different charities.

Treat yourself and your otherwise dreary office space to a bit of colorful delight and do something good too!

That is a beautiful calendar. I love how they come out so far ahead of time so you can take your time and find one you'll really like.
