Roving Reporter: Bergdorf Windows

The other morning at work I suddenly got an email from my sister entitled: "Bergdorf Window Pics for U!". All at once, my inbox started to flood with an array of frosty-toned, elegantly urban, and downright surreal images of snow queens, vintage-looking oddities, and frozen curiosities.
These images made me think a few things, the first being that my sister was shopping on upper Fifth Avenue without me. Ahem. The second was that those Bergdorf folks have the coolest jobs ever. It's like they said "hey, we don't really have any ideas this month, so let's just do a dreamy thing of white and ivory and every piece of crazy shit we can find...and then let's spray paint it all white and silver and icy-looking...we totally have budget for this!" The third thought was: "why doesn't anyone do a photo blog of nothing but the different Bergdorf windows? How cool would that be?!?! They're always so inspiring - I'd love to get a regular dose.
Then, once the shock wore off, I realized how cool the pictures were in their own right. The reflections of the people window shopping, the architectural elements, and even the buildings across the way are all there. The weirdness of the windows seems to be balanced by the pace of the city.
I'm thinking my sister should do a somewhat-regular recurring "Roving Reporter" feature on here of different window shopping excursions...what do you think?
