Liberty & Hermès Go on a Date

Apparently, the two have been dating for a little while now...who knew? Yes, the famous Liberty of London store is hosting a special pop-up shop of Hermès accessories, created in collaboration with Liberty. That is, the famous "Ex Libris" motif of Hermès has been printed on an array of the luscious Tana Lawn floral cottons, creating two sizes of scarves and also a few neckties.

What's not to love about this romance? Hermès is the non plus ultra of glamorous scarves, while Liberty is holds the corresponding title across the channel for chic and timeless textiles. The Tana Lawn cottons are distinctive and unmistakable, with the softest, silkiest hand that ever graced a cotton fiber. Personally, I love them for linings and fun patchworks, and have even indulged in some Liberty pajamas from Bed Head...talk about dreamy!

The combination of the two offers a luxe pairing of materials and aesthetics, while in keeping with a breezy bo-ho chic that is perfectly in tune with the times. The pop-up shop was only meant to go through October 19th, but it looks like a number of pieces are still available in the shop online. So, the only question is, which color is your favorite?
