What I Wore: On a Gray Day

Jeans: Levi's Demi Curve Straight Leg

Top: Anthropologie

Sneakers: Superga

Earrings: Leaves of Glass on Etsy

Jacket: Self-made (Sourdough)

Although we've been having uncommonly beautiful weather around here (until today, at least) there are always a few days of crappy gray. That's what life in San Francisco is all about! Misty, overcast, and then pure sparkling sunshine-y beauty. The other day was a particularly wet and gray one - humid even, which we don't get much of here. Therefore, I went with something bright and cheery that would also help me get through a slew of things on my to-do list.

This jacket was the first one I made out of vintage barkcloth, which then turned into my Etsy line called Sourdough. I think this is my favorite barkcloth print ever - it's just so happy and fun! Obviously I was channeling Marc Jacobs from a few years back with the oversized buttons...but those are what people remark on the most when they see it. And who doesn't love a big button?

Oooh. I've not been to the etsy should yet. I will go check it out. This is a very cheerful & chic ensemble. I usually only wear red in small bits but I do like that top. (I love red dresses, etc. on other people.) Cheers.

Love the mix! Great jacket, too.
