"SUNSET - San Francisco Bay Bridge. Linking San Francisco and Metropolitan Oakland, the Bay Bridge has an overall length of 8 1/4 miles of which 4 1/2 miles is over water. Towering 474 to 519 feet above the water, 207,000 tons of steel and 118,000 gallons of paint were used in its construction."
I love a good sunset postcard. The purple-orange sky is just amazing and exactly the kind of thing we get treated to around here at this time of year. I also love a classic ruffled-edge on a postcard too. Although this postcard isn't dated, something makes me think it's from the 1970s or early 1980s, maybe even earlier.
