Postcard: Mt. Abram, Colorado

"Mt. Abram, elevation 12,800 feet, and Uncompahgre River in the San Juan Mountains of Western Colorado, between Silverton and Ouray."

I'll be honest - I loved this picture for the colors of the leaves on the trees, the river, plus the fact that it had a classic scalloped edge. Although I've never seen this exact spot, it puts me in mind of certain vistas along the Truckee River on the way in towards Lake Tahoe. That is, if we got seasons that merited leaves changing different colors here in California!
