Color Her Rachel

Rachel Znerold in her studio.

Do you know Rachel Znerold? No? You should! Local artist, designer, fashionista, and blazing comet of fun, Rachel uses her creative wherewithal to create one-of-a-kind pieces from repurposed materials. Such impressive abilities are more than envious, to be sure. (The fact that she's utterly bubbly and gorgeous helps that feeling too.)

I met Rachel recently via the Great Connector, Julie Michelle, who brought us together at a local gathering. I was so blown away by Rachel's personal vibrancy which certainly comes through in her body of work. "Colorful" is just the easiest word to begin with, but truly there's SO much more going on with this girl.

From paintings to wedding gowns, her work is inspiring and wholly unique. Her portfolio of fashion is simply incredible. Each piece is individually designed and developed from recycled materials, but their workmanship is strictly couture. At some point soon I'll be hitting her up for a custom something-something that's perfect for summer weddings (and possibly nights out too?) I'm certain she's up for the job for creating that proverbial "perfect thing".

To get a better glimpse of Rachel Znerold, pay a visit to her spectacular post and photos over on Julie's I Live Here:SF, where yours truly was once a special guest star. Or, visit Rachel's own website to see her full offering of creativity and find out how you can get your own dose of the colorful Rachel magic!
