Thank you Carlotta!

One of my favorite Twitter people is the very mysterious (and possibly un-dead) @Carlotta_Valdes. Anyone who knows anything about classic film should get the reference immediately, and Carlotta holds her own with a litany of fun facts on Hitchcock and the rest in 140 characters. No one knows who @Carlotta_Valdes REALLY is, or if she even really exisits, which is part of the fun.

Carlotta visited P&C and put together the picture above, comparing my Grandma Ida (left) with Mary Astor (right) in The Maltese Falcon. I'm so touched! The resemblance is kind of uncanny, plus the fact that The Maltese Falcon takes place in San Francisco around when this picture was taken makes it all the more appropriate.

Thanks so much Carlotta!
