Happy June!

I simply cannot believe that 2010 is half-way done. Where did it disappear to? I guess it's officially the summer season which means kids will soon be on their way to camp, families on their way to vacations, and backyards on their way to being open for laze-ing about in the sun. (I don't have a backyard myself, but I know of a few I can tap when the time comes.)

Anyways, I wanted to mention the passage of time somehow because the days are just flying by! I think this image by the great Rene Gruau is always the essence of summer. He created this for an Air France advertisement in the 1963 and it looks just as fresh today as it did then: balmy, breezy, chic, and playful. Happy June everyone!
