Poetic & Chic 4th Anniversary!

Today marks the fourth anniversary of this, my own fabulous blog, Poetic & Chic! Can you believe it? At four years in this is definitely one of my longest relationships, so I think it should be celebrated! For a fourth anniversary, one is supposed to give fruit and flowers, which would definitely be nice, unless it's one of those "Edible Arrangements" things (heaven forbid). But enough about what I like...
Now's the moment to thank all of my devoted readers and friends who are always so encouraging about P&C. You are the reason this blog is still around, and getting bigger (and better) than ever before! Just in this past year I've interviewed Derek Lam, met with Hamish Bowles, and had drinks with Derek Blasberg. I've also contributed to ILiveHere:SF, and guest-posted on Sacramento Street and the world-famous SFGirlbyBay! And while I hate a name-dropping blogger, I think all of this adds up to a banner year for this little blog!
I won't say it's been easy, but I'm so incredibly grateful for everything the blog has brought my way. The opportunities have been unique, challenging, invigorating, and creative, and the many friends I've made in the blogosphere are some of my most beloved.
In this vein, my next year will show more guest posts from my favorite bloggers, beginning next week with the debut of the soon-to-be-famous P&C Questionniare. I am also trying to sort out something about sponsorship, but I don't want anyone to be alarmed: the soul of P&C shall remain intact! There will be more Bang Envy, Influences, Postcards, and Bon Weekends ahead... So stay tuned and enjoy the party!
