Postcard: Principaute de Monaco

Since it's summer everywhere, everywhere but here in San Francisco that is, I thought I'd go for some classic vacation postcards this month. Building on Ocean City, NJ from last week, today I bring you the gem of the Riviera, the highlight of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous...Monaco! I can't tell when this was printed, but from the architecture I think it's the 1970s. This amazing panorama spans from downtown Monte Carlo toward the Italian border. Or, as the caption reads on the reverse: "Principaute de Monaco - Le Rocher - Le Port - Monte Carlo - Le Beach - Le Cap Martin - Menton et l'Italie".

Just check out that azure water, think of To Catch a Thief, and forget that it's winter outside. (Okay, that's just me...brrrrrr!)
