What I Wore: Sequoia-Paris Trunk Show

Top: Eryn Brinié - from Luna Boutique, San Francisco

Jeans: Paige Premium Denim, Laurel Canyon

Shoes: Cynthia Vincent

Clutch: SEQUOIA-Paris

Earrings: Forever 21

Rings: Kenneth Jay Lane

I love this top from Eryn Brinié - it's kind of a crazy asymmetrical deal with a huge bat-wing style on one side. There's also a draped fold down the front, which helps to form that large draped sleeve. Overall it's really sparkly, sexy, and super-comfortable. Perfect for date night! The Cynthia Vincent shoes are simply amazing; I spotted them in the window of a consignment store (where they were selling for a song) in my neighborhood, and knew they would soon be mine. Hello? They're red! And pink! And pleated! I love them. I also wore two of my favorite Kenneth Jay Lane rings - one is a really simple enameled black disk that's just modern and cool, but the other is my fabulous lady bug ring which I wrote about here.

Annie you have a unique way of doing your 'what I wore' posts and I really like it. No one else that I can recall does it like this. Honestly I think readers (or maybe just me) immediately envision themselves wearing the ensemble and how each piece fits with the other, rather than concetrating on the person wearing it. It also makes posts that actually feature Ms. P & C in the flesh all the more special, because they are a rare breed.

Aw shucks Catie! Thanks so much - this is so nice, especially coming from the person who has elevated the standard outfit post to something straightforward and fabulous, rather than forced and posed. I suppose I'm at the point where I definitely want to share my outfits, but in a way I don't have to fret over... ;-)
