Postcard: Four Views of Paris, 1973

And now for a rollicking game of "Let's Pretend!" I'll go first. Let's pretend that I'm in Paris right now and I found this rather touristy postcard (from 1973) at the Marché aux Puces Porte de Vanves (my favorite), while on a business trip covering fashion week. Let's pretend I took it back to my chic little hotel room in the St. Germain, and sent it off to myself here in San Francisco (via one of those cute little yellow boxes for la poste), with the promise I'd write more as soon as I found time. But I never found the time, what with all the glamour of fashion week upon me, all the shows, air-bisoux, big sunglasses, dodging of Garance Doré's camera, parties, flower deliveries, and decisions about what shoes to wear. So although there's so much more of a fashion week story to tell, let's pretend I'm a heartless soul who leaves her readers hanging; that this is it, that's all you get. À bientôt mes biches.
See, I'm really good at this game. Your turn!
