What I Wore: Indian Summer Chic (& Cheap!)

Dress: Tucker for Target

Belt: Target

Shoes: Seychelles at Nordstrom

Earrings: Van + Ello

Hat: Rayley's Drug I'm not kidding when I tell you that the most expensive thing about this outfit has to be the sandals, and even those were under $100. I literally put this whole thing together at the last minute as I was running out the door, late to deliver a project. It's super hot here in San Francisco this week and this ensemble certainly beats the heat. I had to wear the hat because I was hiding my hair (there, I said it) but it kind of works. Do I shock you when I say that I bought that adorable little Trilby chapeau at Rayley's last summer? I think we were in Incline Village, NV at the time, on the shores of Lake Tahoe. It just makes me think of vacation even though I'm not actually on one. For the record, these Seychelles sandals may be the best sandals I've ever owned. They're flat but stylish and very easy to wear when you have a day of walking in the heat ahead. They still keep a bit of cushion no matter how far you've gone! Oh, and they're silver metallic which is always a winner.

Thanks Sterling! But...I've figured out that this is the kind of outfit post I like doing the best. Self-portraits are just not my thing, but I do want to share my style! So this is a good compromise, I think.

I love that ensemble! I wish I had gotten the shirt version of that dress!
