Creepy Etsy Heads Part I: Dolls

I honestly don't know where these posts came from. I went onto Etsy and did a search for "heads" thinking I'd find some cool mid-century pottery or a great bust I could use in the home. Instead, I found a mountain of headscarves and all kinds of creepy things that may not have bad intentions, but which are indeed a little disturbing.

Part I: Dolls

The first category of creepdom is dolls. I never much cared for dolls. Vintage dolls are even scarier - I just think some possessed spirit is trapped inside of them, waiting to get out. Apparently dolls are a popular thing though, with porcelain doll heads in particular being in high demand. Let's remember that these are meant to be given to children...

Is it me, or do these look like death masks? Or perhaps the weird little angels you'd see in a cemetary?
