What I Wore: Spring Green

Tank: H&M

Cardigan: Banana Republic

Jeans: Gap, Forever Skinny

Boots: Jessica Simpson

Coat: vintage, Lilli Ann

Ring: Leighelena

I just realized that I'm way behind on some What I Wore posts, so I'll try to catch up over the next week or so! This ensemble is one of my favorites for a bit of fun sparkle even on the most boring of days. The addition of a vintage Lilli Ann coat in a crisp green tweed makes it perfect for breaking up the murky weather! The fanciness of the glitter top is tempered by the slouchy-casual look of the merino cardigan, as well as the weathered boots. Plus, I love the warm copper metal with the brown boots. Overall, I love that this has a touch of glam, but is completely comfortable!

I bought this coat at La Rosa on Haight years ago, but only wear it every so often. The shade of minty green is perfect for chilly days in early spring, but it only closes with one top button, so it's not exactly meant for the elements. I absolutely love the gorgeous mink collar, which also hooks together on the front edge to create a funnel neck - one of those classic, versatile details of vintage clothes. Lilli Ann was an amazing company founded in San Francisco, known for its luxe details and quality fabrics. It's always fun to find Lilli Ann pieces around town, and they're always worth the investment!
