Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! To bid you an Irish greeting, I'm posting one of the gorgeous vintage cards I found at the Vintage Paper Fair a few months ago. "Cead Mile Failte" or "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes" is one of my favorite expressions, and I love the flurry of shamrocks going everywhere. The handshake illustration is a little odd, but I suppose it's meant to illustrate friendship, but you can't ignore the political symbolism either.
Postmarked March 16, 1909 in Indianapolis, IN, someone named Fred sent this to a woman named Florence. His greeting? "Well beggorah, and how is trix this foine mornin?"
Have a wonderful day! Enjoy the early spring, wear some green, and try to catch a leprechaun while you can!
