It's been a bit gray around here these days, so I decided I'd brighten things up with some great pops of color. I love pairing this chartreuse yellow top with the gray jeans and black sweater - the dark neutrals are the perfect counterpoint! Also, the straight leg on the jeans is ideal for wearing flats, so I went with my bright pink suede flats from Elizabeth & James.

This quirky-cool cardigan is from Rugby Ralph Lauren, where I spotted it in the men's section. It's a classic Letterman-style sweater, but with a skull & bones motif, which is a lot of fun. I always try to keep an eye out for great sweaters or blazers in the men's section of stores - you can find great stuff, and in a size small or medium, the fit is perfect on a girl!
