Spring Flats

If you're like me: someone who generally works on their feet all day, and foregoes a car for the pleasure of walking, then you know that flats are an essential element of your day. Through the fall and winter I've been wearing my flat boots which have been AMAZING, but now that it's getting warmer I'm refreshing the flat options.

Here's the latest: Pour la Victorie (on sale at Gilt Groupe), Sophie Theallet for Nine West, and Boden.

The Pour la Victories were purely experimental; I've never owned this brand before, but the price was fantastic and I needed a new black flat - but one with a little oomph like these. I couldn't be happier! They're SO comfortable and saucy in one.

The Boden flats just arrived after I had to return something to them that was too big. I thought, why not make this back-and-forth through the mail worthwhile and try their flats? These are also really comfortable and cut a little more generously around the ball of the foot which is great. Some flats just cut you off and get too tight. I liked the metallic bronze thinking it would be a punched-up neutral, and the gems...of course.

I saw these Sophie Theallet for Nine West flats on the site weeks ago and knew they had to be mine. Pinkish-reddish-goldish stripes? And a layered bow? Oh my goodness. They arrived and they're even better in person. Seriously GLOWING with color and the bow detail is the perfect bit of ladylike with a touch of deconstructed. I think I may need the other color.

Beautiful shoes :)

I've been going through some flat fetish as of late too. Sambag is lovely here in Australia.
