What I Wore: P&C 5th Anniversary Party

Finding just the right thing to wear for a special occasion is always a little stressful. Luckily, I found this amazing dress from Alice & Olivia and thought it was perfect for my Blog-A-Versary party last week. The colors are rich and bold, while the silk is absolutely feather-light, making it incredibly comfortable. For shoes, I found these incredible pumps from Sam Edelaman with a heavy-detailing of crystals and studs. The sharpness of their teture was the perfect contrast with the dress.

I wore two of my favorite "rings of power", as my co-workers like to call them. One from Alexis Bittar, which I got at the new boutique here in San Francisco a few weeks after they opened. The other is from House of Harlow which I found on Gilt.

Although I don't have it here (because it was a borrow), Carole at La Boutique loaned me a gorgeous bird necklace from Shourouk to wear during the event. (Although the one I wore had a different composition, it looked a bit like this one.) Shourouk hand-embroiders every piece with incredibly delicacy and detail - so this was a true treat, and it made the perfect finish on the whole ensemble!
