Happy Monday!

Yes, I know I've missed the past few weeks of Bon Weekends, so I'm starting fresh with a Happy Monday to get back into some sort of a routine.

My work days have been flowing one into the next, so I hardly have a chance to get my head straight before I'm off into the next duty. But as of Saturday night, I knew I had to stir some things up. I booked a ZipCar and ran off to the Alameda Flea Market for just a few hours - sometimes that's all you need to get inspired and revived for a bit. I found this glorious Buddha statue that someone had painted red, and knew it needed to be mine. It gives a lovely bit of serenity and Chinoiserie-chic to my place, and I love that it evokes old school Gump's... Styling and placement to be determined - stay tuned!

I think I've also been stumped about how to jump back into blogging after the amazing anniversary event. Thank you again to everyone who attended, and to those who gave it a mention later on! Here's a list of some of the gorgeous posts people put together:

Cuffington - "Gimme Five!"

Dudley - "Poetic & Chic"

Shop Sweet Things - "Party Snaps Part 2 - Poetic & Chic"

You can also find a full assortment of even photos on the Poetic & Chic page on Facebook, where there's an album...

Now, back to your regularly-scheduled programming...I think!
