The Light is Changing

I took this on the way home this evening - from the forest of eucalyptus, redwood, cypress and iceplant that is known as The Presidio. Looking out over the Golden Gate (it's actually an isthmus that gave the bridge its name) at Point Reyes, I saw how the light is changing from the brightness of summer into the golden-dappled of autumn. Here, our marine layer is just slightly filtering those coastal cliffs...
